The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

SSL/TLS Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Data Collection on Our Website
Server Log Files: The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in server log files. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website - for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device and saved by your browser. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Most of the cookies we use are "session cookies" which are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them or they expire. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Contact Form and Email Communication
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the email address you provide to send you our regular newsletter and potentially other information about our services. Your consent to this processing is obtained when you subscribe, and it serves as the legal basis according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Email Service Provider: We use Mailjet (Mailjet SAS, 13-13 bis rue de l'Aubrac, 75012 Paris, France) as our email service provider for processing contact form submissions, sending newsletters, and other automated emails. Mailjet processes your email address and other data necessary for sending emails on our behalf. Mailjet is GDPR compliant and has implemented appropriate safeguards for data protection.
The processing of contact form data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the execution of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.
Newsletter data is stored for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. After unsubscribing, we retain your email address in our blocklist to ensure you don't receive unwanted emails from us in the future.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by contacting us directly. This withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Web Analytics
Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Microsoft Clarity. Provider is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft Clarity uses technologies such as cookies and session recording to help us analyze how users use our website, which helps us improve our user experience and website performance.
Microsoft Clarity collects data including how long you spend on our website, what buttons you click, your mouse movements, scrolling activity, and the text you enter on the site (except for passwords, credit card data, or other sensitive information). Microsoft Clarity also collects information about the page you visited before coming to our site and the page you navigate to when you leave it. Additionally, Microsoft Clarity collects technical information such as your IP address (anonymized), browser type, browser language, and the time and date of your visit.
The data collected by Microsoft Clarity is processed and stored on Microsoft servers. The legal basis for processing this data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize our website and services.

Cloudflare (CDN and Security)
Our website uses Cloudflare, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare offers a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and various security services to protect websites from malicious attacks (such as DDoS attacks) and to improve loading times.
When you visit our website, your connection runs through Cloudflare's network. This means Cloudflare may process certain data, including your IP address, the pages you visit, browser type, and other technical connection data. This data is used to route traffic efficiently and to identify and block potential threats.
Cloudflare Turnstile: We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact forms. Turnstile is a privacy-focused CAPTCHA alternative that helps us distinguish between human visitors and automated bots without requiring traditional image-based challenges. Turnstile analyzes various signals (such as browser behavior) to verify that a visitor is human. Unlike traditional CAPTCHAs, Turnstile is designed to minimize data collection and does not use cookies for tracking purposes.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and has committed to handling data in accordance with GDPR requirements. The legal basis for using Cloudflare is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting our website and ensuring its availability).
For more information, please see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States. This includes Microsoft (Clarity) and Cloudflare. Data transfers to these providers are conducted in compliance with GDPR requirements.
For US-based providers, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the legal basis for data transfers. These mechanisms ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection when transferred outside the EEA.
